過去式式通常會在過去的事件，句子有時間提供的時候用。 Simple past tense is used to talk about a past action when the the time is given.

I played with my friends at school yesterday. 我昨天跟我的朋友在學校玩耍了。 I finished my study two hours ago. 我兩小時前完成了溫習。 很多學生會覺得過去式很難。但是如果熟讀過去式詞彙表，就能輕鬆套入句子。
