Past continuous tense is used when a person is in the process of doing something in the past

過去進行式是用來表達，在過去正在進行的活動。 有時候會跟when, while 一齊用 While i was doing my homework, my mum was watching tv outside. 當我正在做功課的時候，我媽媽出邊在睇電視。 When i was doing my home, my mum came back from work. 當我做功課的時候，我媽媽放工回家了。 My mother asked me what I was doing at 12 o’clock last night. 我媽媽問我在昨晚12點時候在做什麼。
